RAP SHEET 12/29/24

Scripture: Matthew 6:9-13

REVIEW

This week, we dedicated the final Sunday of 2024 to a special time of corporate prayer, using The Model Prayer from Matthew 6 as our guide. We explored the four key sections of this prayer—Person, Purpose, Priorities, and Perspective—to deepen our understanding of how Jesus taught us to approach God.

This time of prayer was structured to help everyone, regardless of where they are on their faith journey, engage with God in a personal and meaningful way. We were reminded of God’s character, aligned our hearts to His will, brought our needs to Him, and ended with a fresh perspective of trust in His power and glory.

Let’s enter 2025 with hearts open to God, living with the perspective that His kingdom and glory are eternal!

APPLY

  1. How can you center your prayers on who God is?

  2. What area of your life needs God’s direction and surrender?

  3. What needs or struggles are you bringing to God?

    • Are there specific relationships, challenges, or priorities that you need to lift to Him?

    • How can trusting God with your needs impact your peace and perspective?

  4. How can you live with a perspective of trust in God’s power and glory?

    • What answered prayers or past faithfulness can you thank Him for today?

PRAY

  • Reflect on God’s holiness and thank Him for who He is.

  • Submit your plans and desires to align with His will.

  • Bring your needs and struggles before Him, trusting in His provision.

  • End by praising Him for His power and glory and asking for trust in His faithfulness.
