This week, we continued our Overflow series with a message titled Rich vs. Enriched. Pastor Clayton challenged us to reflect on the difference between pursuing material wealth and living a life enriched by God’s blessings through generosity.
We revisited Luke 6:38, where Jesus promises that a life of generosity will be met with an overflowing return—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Pastor Clayton highlighted the concept of Spiritual Reciprocity, which is not transactional but rooted in offering what we have to God and trusting Him to bless us in this life and eternity. Through generosity, we expand our capacity to experience God’s blessings—both now and in eternity.
The message contrasted the world's pursuit of being rich with the biblical promise of being enriched. Drawing from Proverbs 11:24-25, we saw how generosity opens the door to a truly fulfilling life. We were reminded of Zacchaeus’ transformation in Luke 19, where his encounter with Jesus shifted his focus from wealth to radical generosity, leading to salvation and a life of purpose.
Big Idea: The path to an enriched life isn’t found in accumulating wealth but in living generously toward God and others.

Ask for courage to trust Him with your resources and live generously.
Pray for wisdom to discern how to manage and steward what God has entrusted to you.
Seek His kingdom daily as you live for eternity.
